He studied at Pepperdine University in California. He mentored for three years under artist, Nataly Nijinski. Since 2005, Gagnon has been creating large scale, interdisciplinary video installations in addition to his work in painting, printmaking, and sculpture. To date, he has created five projects which he has shown at various venues including both 2008 Presidential Conventions, the Fotofest bienniel in Houston, and art fairs in Miami, New York City, Palm Beach, and in the German cities of Berlin and Cologne. Gagnon has exhibited his work in in museums throughout the country including: the Naples Museum of Art, the Palm Springs Desert Museum, the Bladen Memorial Art Museum, the Fresno Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of South Texas, and the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science.
