CÉVÉ French, b. 1951

Born in Paris in 1951, CÉVÉ carves her artistic path through contemporary metalwork sculpture, distinguished by her hallmark style—sleek lines and supple bronze crafted into endearing characters. Her intent is to evoke not just a visual but an emotive response in the beholder. Globally acclaimed, CÉVÉ assumes the role of a curator for numerous exhibitions across France and beyond. Over the last decade, she has showcased her work in over a hundred exhibitions, earning exclusive invitations nine times and garnering twenty-seven esteemed accolades.

In a landmark achievement, CÉVÉ secured the role of Chairman of SNBA's Sculpture Department (Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts), marking a pioneering moment as the first female artist to hold this position in 2013. Her artistic prowess was further solidified in 2014 with solo exhibitions at the Daubigny Museum of Auvers-Sur-Oise and the venerable Pompon Museum of Daubigny, both in France, paving the way for a memorable showcase in 2016.
